Rich and flaky cookies originally from Holland and it is believed to be brought and became popular in Indonesia during Dutch period. This is very popular during festive seasons. I guarantee you that you can’t stop at having just one.

The traditional recipe calls for matured Gouda cheese but you can possibly substitute with cheddar cheese too and I prefer to use unsalted butter rather than salt as I want to stress the importance of salt in providing texture to the baked products and also to get stronger cheesy taste and cheese aroma.

Ingredients: organic flour, unsalted butter, salt, eggs yolk, cheddar cheese.
