This is the variation of traditional crescent cookies. I replaced the organic cake flour with organic oatmeal flour. It tastes slightly bitter and make you feel full faster than eating original ones. Gluten-free.
Ingredients: organic oatmeal, organic sugar, french butter, salt, almond flour and confectionary sugar.
Oats are high in immunity-boosting vitamin E and contain flavonoids called avenanthramides – potent antioxidants which help to break down cholesterol build-up and are thought to help prevent cancer, especially colon cancer. Oats are high in fibre, so have laxative properties, and are also rich in silica, an anti-inflammatory mineral which soothes the digestive tract. Packed with B vitamins, oats are useful for easing stress, and can aid weight loss as they release their energy slowly, staving off hunger pangs. Oats can be used to ease eczema – tie a muslin bag of oats over the tap when running a bath and soak in the water.
